DELRAY BEACH, FL ( (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Delray Beach man remains in the Palm Beach Count Jail as of 6:30 a.m. Wednesday on a prostitution-related charge.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office arrested Eugene Torres of the 5300 block of Tennis Lane in Delray Beach Tuesday morning. He was booked into jail at 1:12 p.m. on a charge of ”procure for prostitution — solicit or procure for prostitution, first violation.” The arrest report was still being processed early Wednesday. It was not immediately clear where he was arrested.

Torres, 60, is being held on $250 bond. It was unknown Wednesday morning if the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office was running a prostitution enforcement operation at the time of the arrest. It does not appear that any other prostitution-related arrests were recorded during the same time frame.
