A Florida statewide missing child alert was issued Wednesday morning for Zainab Hassan out of Fort Myers. She may be with the adults seen in the image, above.

UPDATE: 3 p.m. — The missing child alert was just canceled by police. The child was located and is safe.

FORT MYERS, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The State of Florida has issued a missing child alert for Zainab Hassan. She is six years old, four feet tall, and weighs 75 pounds. The photos of the people she may be with are in the official image, above.

According to the Fort Myers Police Department which issued the state-wide alert, “Zainab Hassan was last seen in the area of the 2200th block of Fowler Street Fort Myers. She was last seen wearing a turquoise shirt with butterflies and gray leggings with butterflies.

Zainab has a scar on her left eyebrow. The child may be in the company of Yassir Hassan and Tammi Gilbert.

The alert was issued just before 9:30 Wednesday morning. Anyone with information is asked to call Fort Myers police or your local police department.
