BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Alligator Alley is closed as of 2:02 p.m. on Wednesday. BocaNewsNow.com readers are sending in photos of a critical crash heading westbound on I-75 (Alligator Alley). We have received word that eastbound lanes are now closed as well. It’s all happening in the area of mile marker 67.
Expect the closure to last several hours. The Florida Department of Transportation has issued an alert on the FL511 website. There are no immediate reports of injuries.
Mile marker 67 is roughly half way between the Broward County entrance and the northerly turn on Florida’s West Coast.
