Threat Follows Multi-Hour Incident On Deerfield Beach Pier Thursday That Turned Out To Be Unfounded…

There is a bomb threat as of 3 p.m. Friday at 5150 Linton Blvd. in Delray Beach.

UPDATE: 3:24 p.m. — Sources connected to law enforcement tell us that this was a hoax. An investigation into who is responsible is underway.

DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Evacuations are underway as of 3 p.m. at 5150 Linton Blvd. for a bomb threat to an office building.

The building is next to Delray Medical Center and houses several medical offices. It was not immediately clear who called in the threat, whether there is a disturbed person actively on the scene, or if this is just an anonymous call from someone looking to cause problems.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue and law enforcement officers are on the scene. Avoid the area which is specifically Linton and Military Trail until the scene is cleared.
