BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — You may be going nowhere fast this week in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, and across South Palm Beach County if you choose the wrong road at the wrong time. That’s the word from the Florida Department of Transportation.

I-95, Glades Road, and Yamato Road will all face major traffic impacts during the week as the result of ongoing construction projects. Military Trail is expected to have issues during the week. Expect Congress in Boca Raton to also face traffic problems.

Read the specifics in the official Florida Department of Transportation document obtained by BocaNewsNow.com and published, in its entirety, below. We note that every project may face delays if the weather becomes a factor during times allotted for construction.

While the list highlights work performed by the State of Florida, we also note that the Palm Beach County Department of Engineering — which is a separate operation — is set to resume construction this week on Lyons Road between Clint Moore and Atlantic. Road widening on Clint Moore between U.S. 441 and Jog Road also continues. Expect significant traffic issues in the area.
