DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The arrest of Willie McClaine early Tuesday morning is at least the tenth arrest of a Kings Point Delray Beach resident since early Spring. As BocaNewsNow.com reported on Monday, the continued stream of Kings Point arrestees is seemingly unprecedented for a South Palm Beach County senior living community. Another resident was arrested on Sunday.
McClaine is charged with the unarmed burglary of an occupied dwelling. It was not immediately clear whether the dwelling was in Kings Point. McClaine lives in Saxony K. The Palm Beach County Clerk of Court’s office reports no other criminal history for McClaine in Palm Beach County.
McClaine now joins accused sexual offenders, batterers, drug users, drunk drivers, and other Kings Point residents who have been arrested over the past several months. Among the most notable, Robert A. Levine who was arrested in late April after allegedly shooting at a person walking a dog on a golf course in the community. Levine was in court on Monday and will return for another hearing in early January.
McClaine, 65, was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail at 4:38 Tuesday morning and remained in jail early Tuesday afternoon. He was arrested by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office. Read our other Kings Point stories, including arrests, here.
