Finke, according to Hollywood Reporter, was 68, and died after a prolonged illness. The specific illness was not disclosed. Public records reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com report that Finke is Nikki’s maiden name, and that her official name is Nikki Finke Greenberg. She lived in a $1.3M condo on South Ocean Drive.

Finke, for decades, broke some of the biggest entertainment stories. She founded “Deadline” — one of the first websites solely focused on entertainment journalism. Deadline.com, and HollywoodReporter.com, are now both owned by Penske Media. Read the Deadline.com coverage here.
