UPDATE: 7:00 p.m — Official FHP report: Vehicle 1 (V-1) was traveling north on northbound Interstate 95 approaching Atlantic Ave upon the center paved travel lane.  Vehicle 2 (V-2) was traveling north on northbound Interstate 95 approaching Atlantic Ave upon the inside center lane.  Vehicle 3 (V-3) was traveling north on northbound Interstate 95 approaching Atlantic Ave upon the inside lane.  Vehicle 4 (V-4) and Vehicle 5 (V-5) were traveling south on southbound Interstate 95 passing Atlantic Ave.  For reasons still under investigation, the driver of V-1 (D-1) veered to the left out of his lane of travel; into the path of V-2.  Subsequently the left side of V-1 collided with the right side of V-2.  Post-Collision, V-1 and V-2 traveled in a northwesterly direction towards the inside shoulder as V-2 overturned onto its right side.  The driver of V-3 (D-3) veered his vehicle to the left in an attempt to avoid colliding with V-1/V-2.  The left side of V-3 struck the concrete median wall along the inside shoulder.  A light pole along the median wall was struck causing it to fall over onto southbound Interstate 95 travel lanes where it struck Vehicle 4 (V-4) and Vehicle 5 (V-5).  The collision caused the fuel tanker to rupture resulting in V-1/V-2/V-3 becoming engulfed in fire.  D-1, D-2, D-3, and V-3 passengers all experienced injuries as a result of the traffic crash.  D-3 experience severe burns, (serious bodily injuries).  No other injuries were reported as a result of the traffic crash.

Inside lane of southbound I-95 is currently closed.  All other southbound lanes are currently open.  Inside and Inside center lanes of northbound Interstate 95 are currently closed.  The center and outside lanes of northbound Interstate 95 are currently open.

UPDATE 6:15 p.m. — Fire officials say that fuel leaked from the scene across I-95, causing a secondary fire on the right side of the roadway traveling northbound. The injury count is now at least five.
