DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Way Beyond Bagels at 16850 Jog Road in Delray Beach was ordered closed by a health inspector with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. The restaurant was permitted to reopen the following day.

High Priority – Live, small flying insects in kitchen, food preparation area, food storage area and/or bar area. Approximately 10 live flies inside desert case at front counter landing on cookies and cinnamon rolls. Approximately 10 live flies landing on bagels at front counter Approximately 5 live flies on menu board over bagels Approximately 10 live flies on dry storage shelving in prep kitchen near walk in cooler.
High Priority – Stop Sale issued due to food not being in a wholesome, sound condition. At front counter display case, flies landing on cookies, bagels and cinnamon rolls. Items discarded. See Stop Sale.
Basic – Bowl or other container with no handle used to dispense food. At bin of corn meal, small bucket used to dispense. Bucket removed **Corrected On-Site**
The inspection was conducted on October 21st. Way Beyond Bagels was permitted to reopen on October 22nd when no violations were found. This location has been ordered closed at least five times since Novmeber of 2021.
