UPDATE: 6:55 p.m. — FPL reports roughly 1500 customers are still without power Thursday evening in Palm Beach County. .

UPDATE: As of 7:28 a.m., FPL reports Palm Beach County outages are now down to roughly 4,700.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — FPL is dealing with thousands of power outages for customers in Palm Beach County.

As of 6:50 a.m., FPL reports 9,480 customers are without power in Palm Beach County. Workers are now spread out, attempting to safely restore power following Nicole’s impact.

In Broward County, just 920 customers are without power early Thursday morning. In Miami-Dade, the number of customers without power is 1,340.

Anyone experiencing a power outage is asked to call FPL at 1-800-4-OUTAGE, or access the online reporting tool here. Anyone witnessing downed power lines is asked to call 911 immediately.
