BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A quick reminder to anyone wanting to take part in the City of Boca Raton holiday lighting festivities, or anyone who thinks they’re going to easily get in and out of the Mizner Park area Saturday evening. The official City of Boca Raton lighting ceremony starts at 6 p.m. and continues well into the evening.
As we reported Friday, the City of Boca Raton describes the event like this: “The first holiday event of the season, Light the Lights, will be a fun holiday festival the whole family can enjoy. The evening entertainment will consist of a holiday stage show, performances, music, a DJ, snow flurries, and more under the stars at the Mizner Park Amphitheater. The evening highlight will be the ceremonial lighting of the City’s holiday tree that will illuminate simultaneously with Mizner Park’s holiday lighting display.”
The official address for the lighting ceremony is 590 Plaza Real. You know it as the area of the Mizner Amphitheatre. Parking will be free by City Hall and the downtown City of Boca Raton Library. Parking will also be available — albeit limited — in the Mizner Park parking garages. Normal metered rates apply for anyone parking on the street.
