Deputies Find Woman’s Body Inside Home.

BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Deerfield Beach man is in custody, accused of killing 36-year-old Jessica Baker by stabbing her repeatedly. Baker lived in the 100 block of NE 21st Street in Pompano Beach.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the regional communications center received an emergency call just after midnight on Saturday from a person making suicidal threats in the 600 block of NW 42nd Court in Deerfield. Deputies rushed to the scene and learned that an adult female may be in the home with life-threatening stab wounds. They searched the house and found Baker, dead.
As Broward Deputies continued to search the home, they say they found Avion White, 50, suffering from apparently self-inflicted wounds. He was taken to North Broward Medical Center for treatment. He is facing a second degree murder charge.
Detectives continue to investigate the apparent murder.
