BOCA RATON, FL ( (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — We don’t want to sound like every other organization or store clogging email boxes today with superficial messages of thanks. But we do want to say that we are thankful to everyone who makes possible.

Over the past ten years, this small website that started as a hobby has evolved into a leading news source in South Florida. Our millions of page views each month, and international distribution, sometimes surprise even us. We thank everyone for trusting our news coverage and believing in our mission of reporting local news that matters.

Our news reporting wouldn’t be possible without the professionals who make sure we get the facts when we need the facts. To the police departments, the courts, the public information officers, the emergency responders, the elected officials, and the career professionals who we speak to daily: thank you. To the public who reads our work every day, we thank you as well. News in 2022 is a team effort. Facts only matter to people who truly care about the facts. Our readership proves that apolitical fact-based reporting still matters. Nothing could please us more. I personally look forward to continuing this fact-based, apolitical reporting when I assume morning host duties on January 9th for iHeart’s NewsRadio 610 WIOD — South Florida’s top-ranked commercial English-language news radio station. (On Twitter, Follow @AndrewWIODNews). My friends Will Althoff, Nathalie Rodriquez and I will bring you the news you need to start your day, 6-10 a.m. each weekday morning.

We hope you have a meaningful Thanksgiving with the people you choose to be with. We thank you for trusting
