BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Boca Raton resident Casey Gans is facing a DUI charge after she allegedly appeared so intoxicated while sitting in a car outside Renzo’s — at 1906 Clint Moore — that a manager inside called police to make sure she was okay.
Upon arrival, a Boca Raton police officer found Gans inside a blue Audi. She was allegedly “going in and out of consciousness,” according to the police report reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com.
The report states that Gans exited her vehicle and “presented with an extremely strong odor of alcohol emanating from the interior of the vehicle.” At one point, according to the report, Gans started to fall over and needed the assistance of the Officer to stand up.
Gans allegedly had issues performing several field sobriety tests, then refused to provide a breath or blood sample for testing. She was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on a charge of DUI.
Gans, 32, who lives in the 6500 block of North Military Trail, was charged earlier in November with shoplifting after an alleged incident at Macy’s. Adjudication was “withheld” in that matter.
