North Broward County Man Dies In Motorcycle Crash

BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A 32-year-old man is dead following a motorcycle crash on West Atlantic Blvd. in Pompano Beach.

Broward Sheriff’s Office investigators say Kenneth Ernst of the 500 block of SW Second Place in Pompano died less than two hours after the crash. He was driving westbound on Atlantic Blvd. around 1:09 p.m. on Thursday, November 17th, when a 2007 Honda CRV turned left on NW 23rd Avenue and entered Ernst’s path.

Ernst sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Broward Health North where he died a short time later.

Charges have not been filed against Carmen Flores, 74, the woman driving the Honda. The investigation continues. The crash occurred in the 2300 block of West Atlantic Blvd.
