PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A major crash just north of Boynton Beach is causing traffic havoc Friday morning on I-95.
The Florida Department of Transportation says I-95 Northbound is shut just south of Lantana Road. All traffic is being exited from I-95 to side streets. It will rejoin I-95 further north. As of 5:56 a.m., the delays appear to be huge. FDOT cameras show major delays on I-95 south of Lantana. Those delays are growing.

It was not immediately clear how many cars were involved in the crash or the extent of injuries. Traffic cameras show at least one car nearly disintegrated after it apparently collided with a center median wall.
Fire Rescue, Police, and FDOT’s Road Rangers are on the scene. Florida’s Turnpike in the area appears to be a much better options heading north.
