DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Longtime Addison Place tenant “Way Beyond Bagels” may be moving to the great beyond if the deli’s landlord prevails in a just filed lawsuit.

According to a preliminary document reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, Way Beyond is so significantly behind in rent that landlord “SCC Addison Place” sued in Palm Beach County Circuit Court to force the establishment to leave. While the suit works its way through the legal system, Way Beyond has been ordered to pay all remaining rent to the Palm Beach County Clerk of Courts.

The suit only affects the Way Beyond Bagels location at 16850 Jog Road, and not the location near U.S. 441 and Clint Moore Road.

It was not immediately clear how much money in back rent Way Beyond allegedly owes. The complaint is being processed by the Palm Beach County Clerk. We will update once that information is filed.
