DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Gregory’s Fine Jewelry, a store in the Shoppes at Addison Place, owes more than $40,000 in back rent — according to a suit just filed by the store’s landlord.
According to a complaint obtained by BocaNewsNow.com, and published in its entirety below, Gregory and Mary Ann Fried have refused to pay rent to SCC Addison Place LLC for several months. Despite demands from Addison Place for payment, the Fried’s allegedly owe $40,846.42. Gregory and Mary Ann Fried are listed as “Guarantors” of the lease, according to the complaint.
Addison Place wants its money. Alternatively, it wants Gregory’s Fine Jewelry to be evicted immediately. The complaint was just filed in Palm Beach County Circuit Court. A judge will review the claim.
The initial lease, according to documents filed with the complaint, indicates that the jewelry store first opened in 2005. No immediate response was filed by the Gregory and Mary Ann Fried. We remind our readers that a complaint is an allegation to be reviewed in court.
