TALE OF THE TAPE: MAN SLOUCHED OVER COUCH. DRIED BLOOD ON HAND. AT SEVEN BRIDGES TENNIS COURTS IN MIDDLE OF NIGHT. WHO WAS HE WITH? WHAT WAS HE DOING?

DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The newly elected Seven Bridges Board of Directors wants Seven Bridges homeowners to believe that a man found unresponsive at the community’s tennis courts, in the early morning hours of January 26th, was nothing. According to an HOA email disputing our original reporting, the man was fine. There was no blood. There was no problem.
But the 911 call obtained by BocaNewsNow.com paints a different picture — one where a community security guard tells two concerned 911 operators that an unresponsive man is “slouched over” a tennis court “couch,” that he has blood on his hand, and white powder on his leg. So concerned, Palm Beach County dispatch sends both the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, to the scene. And there are now new questions being asked about who the man was with before the incident — and why the Board of Directors would apparently not want information about the incident to become public.
The stunning, six minute call, can be heard below. The beep tones cover the name of the security guard — which we are not releasing — and the address of the Seven Bridges Clubhouse: 16701 Cabernet Drive. If you do not have time to listen to the recording, here are a few highlights:
“His hand… he has dried blood on his hand.” “He’s like slouched on this couch, like slumped over.” “(Dispatcher) You did try to shake him? Did you kind of like put your hand on him and try to wake him up and like kind of yell at him? (Security Guard) I was yelling and kicking the chair and saying hello. He would not respond… On the side of his pants is white powder. It’s powdery. I don’t know…. like you know, you have pottery in your hand and you wipe it on your clothes.”
Initial information provided to BocaNewsNow.com indicated that the man, who lives on Cabernet Drive in the community, also sustained a significant neck wound. Subsequent information provided to BocaNewsNow.com indicates the wound was “superficial” yet still yielded blood. The man was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The case is being investigated as a potential overdose. BocaNewsNow.com has learned that no criminal investigation is underway.
