Police Activity Near Don Estridge Middle School In Boca Raton Is Not Criminal

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The police activity in the area of Don Estridge Middle School on Military Trail is not criminal in nature.

Several readers contacted BocaNewsNow.com about what appeared to be a crime scene in the general area of the school on Military Trail. They reported seeming crime scene vans, paramedics, and a number of police officers.

Boca Raton Police, however, tell BocaNewsNow.com that this was a medical call involving a homeless person. The person, unresponsive, could not be revived, according to those familiar with the situation.

There was no threat to the general public. If it is not clear by the time you read this post, the scene should be in the clearing stages as of 12:20 p.m. Wednesday.
