BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — We completely understand that people who live in The Bridges and Seven Bridges are so busy that many must multitask… like text and drive, talk and drive, eat lunch and drive, check Botox and drive, or do pretty much anything other than pay attention and drive, but that seems to be leading to problems in the neighboring communities.

We don’t have the results of law enforcement investigations — if any exist — at this point, but we do know that two drivers managed to drive their cars into landscaping in both Seven Bridges and The Bridges over the past two days.

On Monday morning, in Seven Bridges, a teen driver apparently couldn’t maneuver a straight road and plowed into bushes near the Lyons Road entrance to the community. There was fortunately no report of serious injury, unless you’re talking about the landscaping.

Over the weekend in The Bridges — which sits on the east side of Lyons Road — someone drove their car into a palm tree. While the investigation continues, there is no indication that the palm tree jumped in front of the moving vehicle, so it seems likely that it’s another case of a driver unable to maneuver a completely straight road. BocaNewsNow.com learned that PBSO and paramedics responded to the scene, but no injuries were reported.

It’s the latest incident in just weeks in the area. We reported in January that a man was found around 1 a.m., unresponsive, on a bench near the tennis courts in Seven Bridges. A police report says white powder was found on the man who also had a superficial neck wound and dried blood on his hands.
