Woman Injured On Delray Beach Campus. Rushed To Hospital.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A woman identified as “elderly” was hit by a bus on the Delray Beach campus of Kings Point mid-day Friday. While the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office has not yet confirmed the details, sources close to the rescue operation told BocaNewsNow.com that the incident happened in the area of the Brittany section of the sprawling senior community.
According to information provided to BocaNewsNow.com, the woman was hit by a bus. It was unclear if the bus was a regularly scheduled bus that operates on the Kings Point campus, a private transit bus, or a service run by Palm Beach County.
The woman apparently sustained a critical leg injury and was found lying on the ground next to the bus. Sources tell our newsroom that bone was exposed. Medics administered heavy medication for pain as she was rushed to Delray Medical Center.
