I-95 Also To Close During Week Of Traffic Havoc In South Palm Beach County.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Get ready for a week of traffic havoc that will includes both a Glades Road closure, and several I-95 closures, as work on the Diverging Diamond continues.
The latest closure is set to start tonight, Monday night, and continue into Tuesday. A second closure will take place Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Here is the official information from the Florida Department of Transportation.
Eastbound Glades Road Full Nighttime Closure Notice: Eastbound Glades Road at I-95 will be closed to traffic overnight, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Monday, March 6 and Tuesday, March 7 for overhead sign installation. Eastbound traffic will be detoured via Butts Road, Town Center Road, Military Trail, Palmetto Park Road, and N. Federal Highway.
Westbound Glades Road Full Nighttime Closure Notice: Westbound Glades Road at I-95 will be closed to traffic overnight, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Wednesday, March 8 and Thursday, March 9 for overhead sign installation. Westbound traffic will be detoured viaAirport Road, Spanish River Boulevard, Military Trail and Butts Road.
I-95 is also set to close Tuesday night into Wednesday. We’ll update again on Tuesday, but here is the official information. The detour map is above:
I-95 Southbound Full Closure Notice: All I-95 southbound lanes at Glades Road will be closed to traffic overnight, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Tuesday, March 7 for roadway work and a traffic shift. The first lane will close at 9 p.m., the second lane will close at 10 p.m., and all lanes will be closed by 11 p.m., reopening by 5 a.m. Traffic will be detoured via the I-95 southbound exit ramp to SR-808/Glades Road, SR-845/Powerline Road and Palmetto Park Road. FHP will be onsite to assist motorists. Wednesday, March 8 will be used as a contingency night if needed. Please see detour flyer attached.
