DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Another Kings Point Delray Beach resident spent part of her day behind bars after she was arrested by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. That brings to four the number of Kings Point residents arrested this year, and at least 23 since the start of 2022.

The latest: Mindy Cohen, 57. Still on the young side for Kings Point. Cohen lives in Flanders M.

While the arrest report continues to be processed, the Palm Beach County Jail says that Cohen was arrested on Sunday and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail just before midnight Sunday night. She was released on her own recognizance just before 5 a.m. on Monday.

Mindy Cohen is charged with Resisting an Officer without Violence. It was not immediately clear what she was allegedly resisting, but we will update once we receive the affidavit of probable cause. Cohen joins other Kings Point residents who have recently spent time behind bars, including: alleged sex offenders, alleged drunk drivers, alleged drug users, alleged batterers, a man who allegedly shot at someone for walking their dog on a golf course, and others. The first Kings Point arrest of 2023 was a man accused of selling cocaine. The second arrest in 2023 was a battery charge. The third, a violation of a conditional release for what appeared to be a drug issue.
