BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Two of the three victims of Saturday night’s fatal crash on Dixie Highway in Boca Raton have now been identified.

Boca Raton Police tell BocaNewsNow.com that Frederick Kevin Peebles, 19, of Pompano Beach, and Sharnae Keyera Akita Heard, 20, also of Pompano Beach, died when they crashed into an electric pole. The car caught fire and became fully engulfed in flames. Everyone inside was killed. A third person was so badly burned that an official identification has not yet been made.

“The driver and two passengers were pronounced dead at the scene,” said a Boca Raton Police spokesperson.

Police say Peebles was the driver of the 2013 Lincoln MKZ. The vehicle “left the roadway and crashed into a concrete utility pole.” Anyone with additional information is asked to call Boca Raton Police Investigator Andrew Crawford at 561-620-6227.
