BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — If you live in a community with a homeowners association, a condo owners association, or any community with a private governing body, you have to pay your dues. That’s the message being sent yet again to a homeowner in South Palm Beach County — this time, a homeowner in Boca West Country Club.

Boca West Country Club claims that homeowners Jose Veluntini Gomez and Maria Schemel have failed to pay required Boca West dues for several years. They allegedly now owe $159,169.68. The breakdown: $137,459.03 in back payments, plus $21,710.65 in interest.

According to a suit just filed in Palm Beach County Circuit Court and reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, the homeowners have failed to pay annual membership dues for the membership years of 2018-2019, 2019-2020, 2020-2021, 2021-2022, and 2022-2023.

The suit seeks payment of all back fees, interest, and “further relief as this Court deems fair, just and proper.” Boca West is represented by attorney Larry Corman, Esq. The defendants had not filed a response as of 5:30 a.m. Monday, March 20th, 2023. Read the complete suit, below. (The suit will return…check back).
