Our latest Boca Rudeton submission shows a woman with a dog in Publix at the Westwinds plaza at U.S. 441 and Glades Road. It’s unclear what the dog needed to purchase. (BocaNewsNow.com reader).

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Ahhh, yes. When the weather is gorgeous and there are yards and parks everywhere, why not avoid the great outdoors and take your dog for a walk inside of Publix? Never mind that Publix has signs everywhere now saying only “service animals” (not fake emotional support dogs) — are permitted in the store. When you’re the woman seen above, you can take your dog anywhere. For you are Boca Woman! Queen of humans and beasts!

The photo, snapped by a BocaNewsNow.com reader, shows the white-haired, blue-panted woman with her furry white friend. Apparently, she has no issue letting her dog walk the aisles like a human, and potentially sniff and slobber at will. It’s not like there’s exposed food in Publix. Certainly, no fruits and vegetables are sitting out. Oh, wait.

Lady with dog in Publix, you are our Boca Rudeton™ feature of the day. Thanks for showing why shopping at Publix often isn’t a pleasure at Westwinds — U.S. 441 and Glades Road — and so many other locations across South Florida.

We remind our readers: there is no expectation of privacy in a public place. Don’t want to be seen here? Don’t be rude here! Send your submissions to us using the form below.
