BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — It’s a great time to be on the Boca Raton campus of Florida Atlantic University. So says Larry Faerman, Ph.D., the Vice President of Student Affairs at the school where all eyes are the school’s first-ever entry into the Final Four.

“You know, 100% I’ve been at FAU for 24 years and I can’t think of anything that has been this level of a unifying moment and when I think about it,” said Dr. Faerman. “We describe it as electric. We describe it as exciting. But unifying is the word that I would use as there’s a lot of wonderful things that have happened at FAU over my time here. But this is one of the major things that I think every single faculty student, staff member administrator community member is speaking about and that unity amongst our main campus in Boca Raton as well as around the Tri County area is just, you know, it’s magical.”
Faerman also revealed that quite a bit of FAU merchandise is on backorder, so if you see merchandise, buy the merchandise!
“We had a really big run on basketball jerseys, you know, a couple months ago. And so at that point, then they did a lot more ordering, we had many jerseys arrive. But I think most of our basketball-related items are certainly all back ordered and out of stock. And there’s a lot of I think increased hopefully purchasing in the community. And I’m hoping that at least one of the outcomes of this is that you will see a lot more FAU merchandise around the local community as well as throughout the state.”
