Police say a person was murdered in West Delray Beach.

DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is seeking tips on what investigators are describing as a homicide. The body was discovered in West Delray Beach on Wednesday. The department issued this statement to BocaNewsNow.com Thursday morning:

“Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 15000 block of Summer Lake Drive, Delray Beach to perform a welfare check. Upon arrival, deputies located an adult male deceased inside the residence.  The male was transported to the Medical Examiners Officer where an autopsy was performed.  The autopsy’s results determined that the male was a victim of a homicide.”

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division are currently investigating this death as a homicide.  Motive and suspect information is unknown.”
