BOCA RUDETON: Dog In 3G’S Gourmet Deli Delray Beach Doesn’t Sit Will With Customer

Why is this dog in a Delray Beach Deli? We don’t know. But we do know that it wins our Boca Rudeton™ award of the day. (Image: contributor).

DELRAY BEACH, FL ( (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The latest installment of Boca Rudeton™ brings us to the Delray Beach restaurant known as 3G’s Gourmet Deli. Our tipster says that restaurant personnel just looked the other way as the dog begged for deli food while humans tried to eat.

“It was disgusting,” wrote our tipster. “Service dogs don’t beg for food like this one did.”

We don’t know who owns the dog, or why the dog was in the restaurant at 5869 West Atlantic Avenue to start with. A table for four inside doesn’t traditionally include a dog on the carpet. But sometimes, restaurant patrons in Boca Raton and Delray Beach are far from traditional.

Person who decided it was okay to have a dog with your schmear: you are our Boca Rudeton™ winner for the day! Reach out to us for our custom copy of the award-winning book we will no doubt write sometime, “Manners don’t matter in South Palm Beach County.”
