BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Two teens sustained injuries late Sunday night after crashing into a utility pole in the area of Escondido Way and Lyons Road in West Boca Raton.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue and PBSO responded to the scene around 11:10 p.m. They found a vehicle on its side and the occupants near the car.

Sources tell BocaNewsNow.com that the teens — ages 18 and 19 — were transported to West Boca Medical Center with varied levels of injury, but none so serious that they required trauma care.

It was not immediately clear what led to the crash, but no other vehicles were involved. Florida Power and Light responded to the scene due to the significant damage to the electric pole which was knocked down. Power outages were not reported in the area.
