BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Boynton Beach man is dead following a crash on Military Trail, in the area of Planet Fitness.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office says Gary Santino, 69, was walking in the parking lot at 9770 South Military Trail when he was struck by Catherine Marie Cahill of SW 1st Court in Boynton Beach. She was driving a Toyota Tacoma.
Police say Santino was not in a crosswalk as he walked in the parking lot and was hit.
Santino was transported to Delray Medical Center where he died early Friday morning — more than a week after the March 27th incident.
No charges have been filed against Catherine Cahill.
