If you are out, please be careful. While the alert is primarily Broward and Miami-Dade, there is extreme lightning in South Palm Beach County as of 3:25 p.m.

At 313 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over West Park, or near Hollywood, moving northwest at 15 mph. HAZARD… Tornado. SOURCE… Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT… Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include… Fort Lauderdale, Pembroke Pines, Hollywood, Miramar and Davie.
