UPDATE 3:25 p.m. Friday — FDLE tells BocaNewsNow.com that Elijah was located and is safe.

BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — There is a missing child alert Friday morning for Elijah Ward. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued the statewide alert just after 1 a.m.

According to FDLE, Elijah is 11 years old, white, roughly five feet tall and weighs 80 pounds. He lives in Lighthouse Point in North Broward County.

Elijah Ward was last seen in the area of the 4100 block of Northeast 21st Terrace. FDLE does not say when he was last seen, but presumably on Thursday.

He was last seen wearing a black zip-up jacket with unknown colored shorts and no shoes. If you see Elijah Ward or know where he is, please call 911 or 1-888-FL-MISSING. That’s 1-888-356-4774.
