BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — If you’re planing to drink and drive or speed Friday night, you may want to stay out of Palm Beach County. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office tells BocaNewsNow.com that a massive “saturation patrol” is set for from between 4:30 p.m. and 2:30 a.m.

While focusing on Wellington, Deputies countywide will be on the lookout for speeders and drunk drivers. Saturation patrols often include extra undercover deputies in unmarked cars — cars that you may not think are police cars.

“Deputies will conduct high visibility enforcement of all traffic violations with an emphasis on removing impaired drivers from our roadways,” PBSO told BocaNewsNow.com.

We will run the arrests and citation counts once PBSO provides that information to us — typically on the Monday after a saturation operation.
