Why is that dog sitting in a cart in Publix? We don’t know, but we do know this woman wins our Boca Rudeton award of the day. (Image: courtesy BocaNewsNow.com contributor).

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Another day, another doggie in a cart or walking around an area supermarket designed for humans.

This time, it’s a dog actually in a cart — with what seems to be no padding, blanket, or even paper — blocking the dog’s rear end from the place where food would normally sit. You know, a shopping cart. That’s where you put apples. Or bananas. Or containers of milk. Things that aren’t necessarily covered in Saran Wrap — then removed before eating. No, this woman thought it was perfectly fine for her dog’s toosh to be right there in the cart.

Publix actually prohibits this and our tipster reports that two Publix workers told her that she couldn’t do what she was doing, but she refused to comply. We see no record of police interaction.

Lady with dog in cart used by normal people who don’t bring their dogs to Publix: you are today’s Boca Rudeton™ winner! You’ll receive our book, “Common Sense Thinking and Execution,” should we ever write and publish such a book.

We remind our readers that there is no expectation of privacy in a public place. Don’t want to be seen here? Don’t be rude here! Send your submissions to us using the form below. Boca Rudeton™ is a trademark of MetroDesk Media, LLC.
