BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — An apparent “Road Rage” shooting on I-95 in Broward County is under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol. It happened on the I-95 entrance ramp from Oakland Park Blvd.
FHP issued this statement to BocaNewsNow.com mid-afternoon on Friday:
“Here’s what we know so far: At approximately 8:42AM, FHP Dispatch received a call regarding a possible road rage incident resulting in a shooting. Victim was traveling in a 2017 Gray Chevy when a black Honda Civic bearing a temporary tag shot at the victim’s vehicle. Multiple bullets struck the victims passenger side. The subject’s vehicle fled the area immediately. Prior to the shooting taking place the victim was entering the interstate and merging into the travel lanes. Victim received minor injuries from the shattered glass as a result of this incident. Florida Highway Patrol- Bureau of Criminal Investigations responded to the scene and are investigating this case.”
