GUNS…CHECKS… PHONES… STOLEN MAIL… PBSO AND POSTAL INSPECTOR NAB IN EARLY MORNING RAID…

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and Investigators with the United States Postal Inspector launched an early morning raid at Cortland Uptown Boca Monday and nabbed two men now charged with multiple crimes.
BocaNewsNow.com has learned that Dekevius Montriez Vereen and Kenadre Monte Davis, who apparently both reside in the upscale Cortland apartments in “Uptown Boca,” were found with: Two handguns and one AR-15 rifle; 1869 Stolen Checks; 118 stolen debit cards and credit cards; Multiple five-gallon trash bags of stolen USPS mail; $3000 in cash was seized; 3 cellphones, 1 Apple Watch, 1 Apple laptop with a check writing software and 1 printer.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office says the men were both arrested and charged with: “one count of 784.021 — Aggravated Assault (Deadly Weapon Firearm)– (FELONY); 2 Counts of 784.021 1 –Aggravated Assault (Deadly Weapon Firearm)– (FELONY); 3 Counts of 790.10–Improper Exhibition of Dangerous Weapons or Firearms– (MISDEMEANOR); 4 Counts of 790.01 2–Unlicensed Carrying A Concealed Firearm– (FELONY).”
Investigators tell us that more charges are likely. The men remain held in the Palm Beach County Jail. Cortland Uptown Boca is a new rental community in the Uptown development near 441 and Glades Road. Rent for a two bedroom unit starts at $2996/month.
