BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The rudeness continues in South Palm Beach County as more dog owners violated federal and state laws by bringing their dogs into restaurants and supermarkets. Tipsters shared scores of photos this week. Among the highlights: the photo above depicting a dog in the deli at Publix at Camino Real and Federal Highway in Boca Raton. The owner surely walked by a sign that looked like this:
How about a dog that appears to have a fake service vest in TooJay’s in Boca Raton? Our tipster wants to know why the dog is in a restaurant — violating federal law. Dogs are not allowed inside restaurants, according to the Food and Drug Administration. It’s a crime to mispresent your dog as having been trained as a service dog. It’s also weird to put a cup of water on the floor of a restaurant where your dog shouldn’t be in the first place.
And how about the dog, below, in Boca Bagel Bar in East Boca Raton? Our tipster says the owner responded rudely when asked why the dog was in a restaurant. We wonder how a dog owner would react if cited for violating federal and state laws.
We remind our readers that there is no expectation of privacy in a public place. We also remind our readers that, “I don’t want to leave my dog in a car” an be solved by not bringing your dog in your car to start with. Don’t want to be seen here? Don’t be rude here!
