DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Residents of Kings Point, the senior living community in Delray Beach, continue to keep the Palm Beach County Jail busy. An arrest overnight brings the running total to at least twelve arrests of Kings Point residents in 2023. The total is 35 if you start counting in the beginning of 2022.

The latest arrest: Alise Spiegel. The Palm Beach County Jail tells BocaNewsNow.com that Spiegel was booked into her temporary housing around 1:35 a.m. Friday. She was released on her own recognizance just before 7 a.m.

The charge for Spiegel: driving with a suspended license for the second time. It was not immediately clear where she was stopped or what led police to stop her. Court records indicate her driving issues date back to a DUI charge in 2014 that occurred while she allegedly had a suspended license. She was subsequently stopped after running a stop sign in 2018.

Spiegel joins the list of Kings Point residents who have spent time in the Palm Beach County Jail. They include people accused of: drug dealing, drunk driving, sex offenses, battery, a man who allegedly shot at someone for walking their dog on a golf course, a woman who resisted arrest, and more.
