BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — As seemingly rude owners of dogs continue to bring them into places where they do not belong, BocaNewsNow.com is providing details on how to file a complaint with Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation and the Florida Department of Agriculture. While you can certainly call the police on dog owners who you believe are violating state and federal law by bringing dogs into restaurants and supermarkets, you can also file a complaint that could lead to fines — or even a temporary shutdown — of restaurants and supermarkets that permit non-trained-service dogs into their establishments. We have that information below as we remind readers that Emotional Service Animals are NOT trained service dogs, according to federal regulations.

This sign says it all. But in Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, and Delray Beach, many dog owners apparently have reading comprehension problems.

But first, we start with another round of Boca Rudeton™ — a look at the people who bring dogs into places where they are not allowed. Our first stop: Publix in the Fifth Avenue Shops in Boca Raton. The woman below apparently felt it necessary to gamble the health safety of everyone in the store while gambling her money on a lottery ticket.

Why did this woman feel it necessary to bring her dog to buy a lottery ticket at Publix in Boca Raton’s Fifth Avenue Shops?

At Duffy’s on St. Andrews Blvd. in Boca Raton, the couple below apparently wanted to enjoy a meal out with a dog. Lucky for them, everyone else in the restaurant got to enjoy the dog as well, even though non-officially-trained-service dogs are prohibited from being in restaurants at all.

At Duffy’s on St. Andrews in Boca Raton, it’s Man, Woman, Dog on a triple date.

If you wonder why Amazon and Walmart.com do so well, it may be because people don’t want to go to the mall and deal with people and their dogs. Malls are malls, They aren’t dog parks. But this couple walking a dog into Saks in the Boca Raton Town Center Mall on Sunday apparently confused the two. Why do you need a dog in a mall? (Seriously, it’s not the first part of a joke. Why do you need a dog in a mall?)

%%
Attention Simon Property Group: If you want to know why malls, like Boca Raton Town Center Mall, seem to be failing, it’s because they’ve become dog parks. And shoppers don’t want to compete with dogs while shopping in Saks.

And at Ben’s Deli in Boca Raton, this ball of fur may be cute, but is not allowed to be in a restaurant. We don’t know why it was there or whether Ben’s asked the couple to take the dog outside. Another diner in the restaurant was frustrated that the dog in a place where humans were trying to enjoy a meal.

If it’s not an officially trained service dog, it’s now allowed in restaurants, like Ben’s Deli in West Boca Raton.
