DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) (Published 5:11 a.m.)– A Delray Beach man is facing a homicide charge and a “abuse dead human body” charge following his arrest Wednesday by the Delray Beach Police Department.
William Lowe, 78, of the 300 block of Venetian Drive in Delray Beach was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon. He was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail at 7:03 p.m. He is being held without bond.
It was unclear early Thursday if his arrest is connected to the ongoing search for suspect in the death of a woman whose body was found dismembered and placed in three suitcases floating on the Intracoastal late last month.
Police released a composite of the victim, and the suitcases in which she was apparently placed, during a news conference last week. Lowe is officially charged with “homicide — murder first degree premeditated” and “crimes against person — abuse dead human body.” This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
