A shooting in West Boca Raton left a young adult dead.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office says the shooting that left one person dead on Monday in West Boca Raton involved a minor and a “young adult male.” According to police, the minor shot and killed the young man. BocaNewsNow.com has learned that the victim and the minor were “acquaintances.” The investigation continues.

The following is initial information released to BocaNewsNow.com following the shooting around noon on Monday.

Deputies responded to a shooting in the 6800 block of Bianchini Circle, Boca Raton. Upon arrival deputies located a male deceased from gunshot wound(s). All individuals involved in the shooting are accounted for.

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division are in route to investigate this shooting/homicide further. What led up to the shooting is in the preliminary stages.
