David Lishinsky of Bonaire Boulevard in Delray Beach was allegedly working at the Wendy’s at 15020 South Jog Road when he was asked to go home by a manager around 9 a.m. on August 9th.
Before leaving the store, surveillance video allegedly shows Lishinsky going to a cash register, opening the drawer, and removing $141 in cash. He is then allegedly seen “placing the bills in his front left pants pocket.”
PBSO caught up with Lishinsky and placed him under arrest. It was not clear if the cash was found in his pocket at the time he was taken into custody. Lishinsky was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail around 4:30 p.m. on August 10th and released the following day on his own recognizance. A court date is pending.
