DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Superstar Mark Wahlberg will visit Rocco’s Tacos (110 East Atlantic Avenue) in Delray Beach Friday afternoon. The actor, singer, and businessperson will simultaneously promote his Flecha Azulejo Tequila while raising funds for the Maui relief effort. It was not immediately clear if Wahlberg is aware that the venue was ordered closed by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation for health code violations in March, and received five “high priority” violations from an inspector in May.

Rocco’s issued this advisory: “Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar Hosts Flecha Azul Tequila Happy Hour with Mark Wahlberg August 25 Florida’s favorite destination for authentic Mexican cuisine in an upbeat environment, Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar, is hosting an exclusive Flecha Azul Tequila happy hour with owner Rocco Mangel and award-winning actor Mark Wahlberg on Friday, August 25.

Proceeds from Friday’s happy hour, and throughout the month of September, will go towards World Central Kitchen benefiting those affected by the recent Maui fires. The event gets underway at 5 p.m.”

Rocco’s was temporarily closed in March due to health code violations. Its most recent inspection, on May 24th, yielded the following issues, according to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. BOCANEWSNOW.com does not edit official log entries provided by FLDBPR.
