PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office says detectives arrested a suspected human trafficker living in Wellington. Raul Brown — also known as JB — is now in the Palm Beach County Jail.
According to the Sheriff’s Office in a statement to BocaNewsNow.com, “On August 30, 2023, detectives from the Human Exploitation and Trafficking Unit arrested Raul Brown, aka “JB”, on several charges to include human trafficking of a child for Commercial Sexual Activity and Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child. Raul faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.
The minor victim was groomed and later exploited by the suspect to engage in commercial sex acts for his financial gain.
