Weapons Offenses And More… School Board Set To Approve…

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Palm Beach County School District is preparing to suspend and expel several students, primarily for weapons offenses.
BocaNewsNow.com has learned that a special meeting will be held — in private — on Wednesday during which the following students are expected to be expelled:
A student identified as 22/23-X-048: “Recommendation for Expulsion of student 22/23-X-048. On March 27, 2023, Respondent did Post/Transmit a Threat of Mass Shooting or Terrorism.”
A student identified as 22/23-X-055: “Recommendation for Expulsion of student 22/23-X-055. On April 13, 2023, Respondent was in Possession of a Weapon.”
A student identified as 22/23-X-063: “Recommendation for Expulsion of student 22/23-X-063. On May 9, 2023, Respondent did Post/Transmit a Threat of Mass Shooting.”
A student identified as 22/23-X-065: “Recommendation for Expulsion of student 22/23-X-065. On May 5, 2023, Respondent did Post/Transmit a Threat of Mass Shooting or Terrorism.”
Students who are expelled are traditionally assigned to alternative education programs for at least a year, then they are potentially permitted to return. Their names are withheld due to age. The Palm Beach County School Board is expected to officially expel these students on Wednesday.
