DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who first promoted the COVID-19 Vaccine before standing against, masks, and other preventative measures, said Wednesday that Florida residents should not get the booster shot which will be widely available within the next few days. He was flanked during a news conference with Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo, also against the updated vaccine.
According to Ladapo, the booster has not been tested on enough people to warrant FDA approval. The FDA and CDC both signed off on the booster for all people aged six months and over. Ladapo says no one under age 65 should get the booster, accept in rare, special circumstances.
The COVID positivity rate is soaring again in South Florida, with Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties reporting rates between 20 and 25 percent. Hospitalizations are also in the rise, although deaths have not dramatically increased. However, more than 20,000 people have now died from COVID in Florida since the pandemic began.

My friend and I both got the covid after being boosted. Obviously ,it didn’t help us. BTW-we are both over 85.
But WAIT-there is more–In our over 55 community more than 3 out of 4 of us had the same unfortunate result.
Some even got it twice.
There is certainly no evidence that the new vaxx will work as it isn’t yet available and obviously not adequately tested.

As a healthcare professional for 30 yrs I can say many who followed their earlier advice are dead. We had the second most deaths and that’s the ones he didn’t hide ( prisons, snowbirds, nsg homes etc were not counted until he was exposed) Do as you want but he and his lapdog are the last people I’d listen to. I just got over COVID. There were so many people in the local hospital here. Many of them will not make it. Should you get the booster? Of course you should. This is a new strain. Get it and get to llive another day. Politicians don’t know anything about medicine and neither does this doctor. I wouldn’t take advice from either of them.

I am against vaccines which not been properly tested, like the original COVID 19 vaccines, which did not prevent the outbreak but caused many deaths and illnesses as side effects. When they were proven to be ineffective, then the government started adding boosters, which only further weakened the inmune system. It is a fact that the blood banks cannot use the blood of inoculated donors, which should tell you something.

Raul, blood banks DO accept blood from people who were vaccinated. If you wish to remain un-vaccinated, it is important that your family members know that you do not want a blood transfusion with DNA changing MRNA; in case of an emergency. Un-vaccinated family members can donate for you. If you are taken to a hospital, make sure to write your preferences in your paper work. Also the tests contained dangerous chemicals. Make sure they know you want them to use a clean cotton swab, and not the one in the package. We must respect each other.

As a retired surgeon with some knowledge with knowledge about the right people, it is the FDA that is the true expert. The so-called governor and the doctor, with all their anti-vaccine rhetoric, have probably caused many poor outcomes in patients who headed their advice. I think all politicians should leave medical advice to people of science. We saw how harmful and deadly Donald Trump’s Covid-19 advice turned out. Although Trump finally came around a lit a fire under the drug companies to find a vaccine, until then he was in denial. We all recall Trump thought it might be a good idea to inject a cleaning solution into our bodies as a way to fight Covid. Governor DeSantis and his advisors are not qualified to give vaccine advice. Since I have had a total of five vaccine injections with no adverse reactions I will follow the advice of real experts not politicians.

So, they’re telling their viewers to avoid something that they got for themselves because they knew it would protect them and keep them safe. Why would they do that? I never listen to anything Desatan says. I will get the booster, like I have in the past. I have asthma so I dont want to get covid. I’ve tried to practice healthy choices since covid came out. The last time I got the Flu, I felt like I was going to die. Covid is supposed to be worse. I try to avoid big crowds, people that are sick, and crowded stores. Recently I started wearing my mask in some places. I have friends that got covid. One never wanted to get the vaccine. Everyone has their own choice. I try to avoid those people. Recently I got the shingles vaccine, and flu shot. In my life I have had them all. I’ve never had an issue afterward.

Well said Andrea. I am over 55, got the COVID-19 vaccine, became infected, and was sick with a very high fever. I stayed home and treated myself as if it was a bad cold. I do not have any comorbidity thus my body responded well.

I just got over COVID. There were so many people in the local hospital here. Many of them will not make it. Should you get the booster? Of course you should. This is a new strain. I am against vaccines which not been properly tested, like the original COVID 19 vaccines, which did not prevent the outbreak but caused many deaths and illnesses as side effects. When they were proven to be ineffective, then the government started adding boosters, which only further weakened the inmune system. It is a fact that the blood banks cannot use the blood of inoculated donors, which should tell you something.

If you wish to remain un-vaccinated, it is important that your family members know that you do not want a blood transfusion with DNA changing MRNA; in case of an emergency. Un-vaccinated family members can donate for you. If you are taken to a hospital, make sure to write your preferences in your paper work. Also the tests contained dangerous chemicals. Make sure they know you want them to use a clean cotton swab, and not the one in the package. We must respect each other.

Sadly Dr’s were given untruthful information early on in an official letter. Some Dr’s regret giving and getting the shot, as they begin to see. They were not told about the change to DNA. As a retired surgeon with some knowledge with knowledge about the right people, it is the FDA that is the true expert. The so-called governor and the doctor, with all their anti-vaccine rhetoric, have probably caused many poor outcomes in patients who headed their advice. Agreeing with some of the others I would take both of them and their families to a ward of covid patients and see what happens.

I think all politicians should leave medical advice to people of science. We saw how harmful and deadly Donald Trump’s Covid-19 advice turned out. Although Trump finally came around a lit a fire under the drug companies to find a vaccine, until then he was in denial. We all recall Trump thought it might be a good idea to inject a cleaning solution into our bodies as a way to fight Covid. Governor DeSantis and his advisors are not qualified to give vaccine advice. Since I have had a total of five vaccine injections with no adverse reactions I will follow the advice of real experts not politicians.

Fox News has railed against the vaccines from the beginning, but here’s a little tidbit you might not be aware of. Their hosts are vaccinated. Yup. So, they’re telling their viewers to avoid something that they got for themselves because they knew it would protect them and keep them safe. Why would they do that? Because they know it’ll fire up their viewers who have been conditioned to distrust what is actually true. They need to keep their viewership numbers up. I never listen to anything Desatan says. I will get the booster, like I have in the past. I have asthma so I dont want to get covid. I’ve tried to practice healthy choices since covid came out. The last time I got the Flu, I felt like I was going to die. Covid is supposed to be worse. I try to avoid big crowds, people that are sick, and crowded stores. Recently I started wearing my mask in some places. I have friends that got covid. One never wanted to get the vaccine. Everyone has their own choice. I try to avoid those people. Recently I got the shingles vaccine, and flu shot. In my life I have had them all. I’ve never had an issue afterward.

He did not ” urge” anyone not to get it. He gave his opinion and stated it as such using the words ” my judgment ” of which i do believe he is still allowed to do. There are no absolutes regarding the vaccine and the cdc just released data showing the risk of side effects from the vaccine heavily outweigh the risk of dying from covid for young people. Remember when there were vaccine mandates and mask mandates and some thought that was reasonable. Such hypocrisy.
Well said Andrea. I am over 55, got the COVID-19 vaccine, became infected, and was sick with a very high fever. I stayed home and treated myself as if it was a bad cold. I do not have any comorbidity thus my body responded well.
