Restaurant Later Allowed To Reopen.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Popular bar and restaurant “Crazy Uncle Mike’s” at 6450 North Federal Highway was ordered closed by a health inspector with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. The closure, ordered on September 15th, was cleared within a day.

High Priority – Live, small flying insects in kitchen, food preparation area, food storage area and/or bar area. Approximately 15 live small flying insects landing on the wall next to the ice machine prep area of the kitchen. Approximately 10 live small flying insects landing on the wall over the potatoes and clean glass racks in the prep area of the kitchen. 7 live small flying insects landing on clean glass racks in the prep area of the kitchen.
High Priority – Roach activity present as evidenced by live roaches found. 1 live roach found on the wall next to the clean pans storage rack. The roach was exterminated. The wall was cleaned and sanitized. 2 live roaches under the dish machine in the kitchen 3 live roaches found under the breaker boxes in front of the cookline behind expo in the kitchen.
Crazy Uncle Mike’s was reinspected late on September 15th and given the all-clear to reopen. The restaurant has resumed normal operations.
