BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Two major crashes in North Broward County have completely closed I-95 southbound at Hillsboro Blvd. as of 1:30 p.m. Sunday, and I-95 Northbound in the area of Copans Road as of 1:45 p.m. Sunday.

Multiple people are injured, according to sources involved with the rescue operations. Multiple cars are involved. At least one vehicle is on fire.

BocaNewsNow.com readers sending photos of the crash say traffic delays are growing north and south of the of the accident scenes. Drivers heading southbound from Palm Beach County are encouraged to find alternate routes. Drivers heading northbound, south of Copans, are also encouraged to find alternate routes.
